i am the laptop whisperer
Last night I worked some sort of magic (i.e. manually installed a bunch of updates) and my ancient Dell laptop works better than it has in years. It’s still a six year old piece of shit Dell but now it’s a six year old piece of shit Dell that actually gets on the Internet. And what did I do with this now fully functioning laptop? I spent an hour reading celeb gossip and watched an episode of Toddlers and Tiaras on YouTube. Time well spent.
